Leanna Finol is a Venezuelan-Hungarian singer-songwriter, actress, and musical theatre performer based in New York City. Inspired by her multicultural roots, she blends Latin influences with contemporary pop to create music rooted in honest storytelling and emotional connection.

Originally from Venezuela, Leanna began performing at a young age, taking part in vocal competitions, musical productions, television programs, and live concerts. After relocating to Budapest, Hungary in 2018, she continued to grow as a performer, appearing at cultural events, performing as a guest artist at Sziget Festival, and gaining national television recognition through X-Faktor Hungary. During this time, she also co-founded Caribbean Soul, a live acoustic duo that performed Latin and international covers across Hungary. The project became an important chapter in her artistic development, strengthening her stage presence and deepening her connection with audiences.

After moving to New York City in 2024, Leanna trained at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), where she expanded her work as both a performer and songwriter. While continuing to build her career in musical theatre, she began focusing on developing her own original music. She is currently preparing to release her debut original songs in 2026, marking a new chapter in her artistic journey.

Alongside her music career, Leanna originated the principal role of Mamá in Aguardiente, the world-premiere bilingual musical presented by GALA Hispanic Theatre during its 50th Anniversary Season. Her performance was praised by Metro Weekly, which described her as “the show’s strongest singer.” She has also expanded into film, starring in the lead role of Xiomara in an upcoming short film by Luis Ayala Productions.

Today, Leanna continues to write, record, and perform, bringing together her experience in music, theatre, and film while building a career centered on her original artistry.
